El Potrillo offers a compelling blend of value and comfort, particularly for travelers exploring the stunning landscapes around Guatapé and El Peñol. The hotel’s staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. I was pleased with the secure parking, a crucial feature for those traveling by motorcycle. My room provided an impressive view of the river, allowing me to soak in the natural beauty even from the shower—an unexpected bonus. The water pressure was excellent, with both hot and cold options readily available. While I didn’t dine at the restaurant, it appeared to be popular among guests. I did enjoy a perfectly brewed coffee from the on-site coffee shop.
